As a participant of the program, can we receive revenue?

What documents do I need to fill in order to get started with the program?
Affiliation agreement, ACH form so we can pay your commission electronically, and a W-9 form for tax purposes. The forms are available to electronically sign and upload on the product order page.
I want to sell life insurance myself. Is this program for me?
Absolutely. Through the VelaPoint Advantage Program, we are able to restrict our agents from selling life product lines. Further, we can redirect product sales opportunities back to your agency if you specify.
We are strictly a P&C/Commercial lines agency. Can we still partner?
We will still work with you! You will receive a flat referral fee for each policy submitted. Please refer to the agreement for the schedule of referral fees or contact us for more information.
What if I am only licensed to sell health insurance in one state?
You can choose either to receive a revenue share in the state(s) where you are licensed or a flat referral fee for each policy submitted in both your licensed and non-licensed states.
What carriers is VelaPoint appointed with?
Only carriers rated “A” by A.M. Best, including United Healthcare, Assurant, Humana, Aetna, Cigna and many more!
What if my customers have pre-existing conditions?
Absolutely, our agents have guarantee issue plans available, regardless of your health history.
What time should I have my clients call?
Licensed agents are available:
6 AM - 6 PM PST Monday-Friday
9 AM - 2 PM PST Saturday
